S&W Safety Alert---M&P Shield

I just got this message from one of the Wholesalers:

To All Smith & Wesson Customers:
Smith & Wesson is in the process of announcing a Safety Alert relating to the lower trigger on M&P Shield pistols. We should be in a position to provide you with more details as to the scope of the affected pistols in a few days. In the meantime, please stop all sales and shipments of M&P Shield pistols pending further notice. We appreciate your assistance in ensuring that the products we provide to customers meet our high standards for quality and safety.

I shot the notice to the one Shield owner that I know.
I'll probably call her about it as well.
Better safe than sorry.

At least we'll make sure she keeps it in the safe while she's at the range.
let S&W sort it out and keep her .... safe.

Did the test on both of ours with no problem.

I guess Shields will be a little hard to come by until they all get checked out. Likely will slow down the supply line.
