Well just when you thought they couldn't they did. Rugged has stepped up the bar IMO with the Mini 30. A modular can with Stellite baffles and stainless tube and attachment. Pretty cool stuff right there.

Ahh let @DoglegArms hook u up. It'll be here before spring gets here. I like that one and the Razor be a tough pick between em
I think I'll end up going with one of the OSS "flow through" style cans when I get a 30 cal. It'll mostly be used on autos (5.56 and .308) and they really help you keep from getting gassed out.

Noyce the Helix looks to be heavy duty and hard core high rolla I here ya. Great choice for precision shooters and hunters too.

Yeah, that's down the road a bit, but I'm pretty sure that'd be the best route to go.

You ever look into over the barrel cans with collars like OPs INC or Allen Engineering. I like the TBAC Ultra 7 too all those are lil pricey tho

What the heck mayne birthday coming up for that one. What is it ? Form 4 Trust ?

I see 10-11 months on NFA tracker for a Form 4 Trust paper ridiculous.

Yep. I’m going by the date I paid @DoglegArms for the stamp. I dragged my feet getting the new paperwork done and getting it in the mail. 10 months is probably about where I’m at.

Is the 5" short configuration total legth or added length? Love my sdn6 but would like to get a shorter lighter can to also run on a 5.56 rifle.

The standard is 6.5" and short is 5". That would be a perfect lightweight setup

Everybody needs options now !

I'll have to check them out- I'm not in the market for any more cans, but the technology sure looks interesting.

I've also come to the conclusion that when shooting .308 (standard velocity and .223/5.56 for that matter), a few decibels difference between different manufacturers is meaningless. The super sonic crack of the round is so loud, it doesn't matter what the can is doing.
