Ruger American rifle in .22 cal

I seen one at the gun shop the other day. Did anybody shoot one? the cost was $329

They're kind of ugly. Especially compared to the 77/22, but I reckon they are only about half the price.

Ruger sent out emails on it is all I know. How did you like it? Is it the 10/22 trigger system or something else?
