Finally bit the proverbial bullet and painted my go to AR.
I'll cover what the rifle it self consists of first.
*Lower*
Anderson lower (registered SBR)
-ALG ACT trigger
-JP captured spring
-BCM stock (love this stock)
-Daniel Defense Grip (awesome grip and didn't want to lose the texture so I taped over it when I painted)
-KNS pins
-Strike industries bolt release.
*Upper*
-Innovative Arms W.A.R. upper
-FN 10.5 5.56 barrel
-Nickel Boron PSA BCG
-Tlr1 HL with remote switch
-PRI charging handle
-Aimpoint T1 with ADM mount (I think that's the name)
-NAROH arms hand stop
-Magpul SL handguard
-Sandman S 7.62 Suppressor.
-BUIS off a Sig M-400
-Magpul M-LOK sling QD mount
Used Rust-Oleum Camoflauge Spray Paint kit.
Then taped off areas I didn't want painted. Including removing the trigger and taping the holes from the inside.
Sprayed in some engine degreaser to get whatever gunk may be on it.
Laid it down and crossed my fingers after watching this video.
End product is this.
