So I've come to the point where having a duffel full of random parts, ammo, tools, and accessories is killing my range time. I've started researching bags and am leaning toward the Osage river tacticool bag. Seems to have good organization and plenty of space. I plan to attach a small pouch for tools, and another for an IFAK, but want to see what y'all use, like, dislike. Theoretically, I'd like to find one just big enough to fit a broken down ar pistol in...just not sure how realistic it just to find without dropping a couple of big bills on.

Midway bag is what I use.

I'm thinking smaller bags focused on certain guns or caliber.

I like that Midway bag. Anyone use any others?

Just be sure if you get a Midway bag to buy it when they are running a sale on them, which they do often. They are good bags, but not worth what they want for them at full retail. The stitching is kinda janky and the zipper pulls are prone to falling off. I've had my bag for about 6 years or so and it's still functional, but the stitching is coming off(luckily it's double stitched in most places) and the zipper pulls have fallen off so I'm using 550 cord on most of them now.

My range bag is a jumbled mess and not sure why, but it works for me.

I do love these for carrying AR/AK mags.

Clip a little card with platform/cartridge and slide it under the clear window for identification. All my AR platforms are black carriers and AK are tan.

Buy 3 and get free shipping.

But understand, when I go to the range it's like...

I like that idea

That’s my essentials that always go to the range, regardless of what I’m doing. Sometimes when I’m conducting training out of state I’m carrying a lot of gear and it ends up in the bed of the truck. My old range bag let the contents get wet, this one doesn’t.

Couple of years ago I flew up to Minnesota to teach a 2-day pistol class. This went as one of my carry-ons.

You should have seen the trunk of my little elantra when @Red Dawn, @freedom and myself commuted together to the M&G in Rome! I can imagine the fun a cop would have had if we had gotten stopped!
