How can you tell the first one is Bulgarian if it's not a Y?

The font lug welds are nice and circular - not sloppy like Romanian or Russian, and not ground down like East German or Hungarian. The front lug welds look pretty similar to the newer Bulgarian T type ribs, but there were earlier iterations that were second European rib type. It's a guess, but I am pretty confident.

I gotta say that I have had the opposite experience. Twice. I was denied employment based on the color of my skin, and a less qualified individual was hired to meet affirmative action quota. Both times I was told by HR and offered a different position.
