Metal halide or sodium? Had a customer rig up a pair with ballasts/transformers into his car‘s headlights back in 05-06, it was ridiculous. I think they were 300-400watt and who knows the candlepower but it lit up everything 1/2mile ahead of him
It is? I've only had it a couple years or so, but the gun sees a fair amount of use - so maybe it looks older than it is...

Fired one of those before in .45ACP but man what a mushy trigger and a huge take up, some of the features were nice but a last it was a Taurus
Well, I like it. I like it better than the PLII on the other upper (lighter, and doesn't get as hot) even though it's not as bright.
I also have a Mini on my M&P9 pistol - the rechargeable one - and I like that too. Really tiny, really bright for its size.
Other Olight I have is the MXII Warrior (I think), but that was such a huge light I pulled it off the guns and just use it as a hand-held light for camping.
Olight is all I've used, mostly because they've been in my price range and haven't had any problems with any of them.
Replaced with an LED haha coming down not going up thank God
