I agree. It's the politicians on all sides trying to set up a narrative for the fall election. Pretty certain it's not boogbois (they'd use the firearms they spent so much on, not bricks) but I don't know if it's antifa or just white assholes looking for a chance to play at anarchy & then go home. The 2 women (a woman & her daughter) who firebombed the cop car in NYC came from way upstate to be in the chaos. I don't know if they had real political motivation or just looking to be "bad".

Maybe not here but I feel like in a lot of parts of the country the city government or even state gov doesn’t stand behind the police and back them up. To me if I was a cop and I knew my state or local gov didn’t have my back that would be enough for me to put in my resignation

Thanks for everyone being just genuinely awesome. I have been laid off since the end of March, my grandma passed away 2 weeks ago and I just gained custody of my son (16), so my world has been a little crazy recently. Hoping to get back into the swing of things soon.
