I have that same optic and hate it for a combat rifle. You have to acquire the target like a traditional scope slowing the presentation on target. I have been planning on checking to see if it has enough eye relief to work as a scout scope on my Mosin. Those blade sights are no good for an old man close to dark in a tree stand.
It's not as quick as a dot, so maybe lpvo is the way to go...
