Not really, if you go back and look at his post around 2015 he was pro trump. And even said he was voting for trump.

I am pretty concerned about the precedent he set with the bump stock ban. Having an accessory arbitrarily designated a machine gun... The next logical step for an anti gun president is to have standard capacity box mags declared a machine gun and have them banned.
