I have terrible eyes and astigmatisms. Not that I’m assuming this to be your issue, but a lot of people focus on the reticle, on holo sights the dot/donut should be superimposed on whatever you’re shooting at. If you focus on the target the dot gets crisp.

Yeah, even focusing on the target it's still grainy. The only semi-exception to this is sunlight. When in sunlight the reticle gets crisper. The only reticles that look perfect to my eyes are ACOGs.

I might diversify to 9mm too. I will carry a .45, because I think it's best option for me. However, I'm genuinely torn between and FNX45T and the 509t for my boog pistol
