I got 2 pounds of deer meat thawing out. Might just cook a pound. Tomorrow I’ll probably do the deer cube steaks.
2 pounds deer, 2 15oz cans of Ranch Style beans, Williams chili mix, Cain's chili powder, cumin, onion, garlic.....makes 1/2 gallon of chili.
I wonder how many shitty beers me, @karlvv and @FatAlbert could drink in one power sitting?

Last ight at work I used 2 pounds of deer, 1 can of pinto beans, 1 can of chili beans, 2 cans of fire roasted tomatoes, garlic, salt, pepper, onion powder, and a chili powder. Delicious. I have some left over in our Fridge at work.

Sounds awesome - if you can get spicy mole' in a jar around there, try a tablespoon or two in your chili, put it in at the start so it melts and distributes evenly, I bet you'll like it.
I fed 150 people this time last year, made 15 gallons of chili. That takes 60 lbs of deer......I would "start" a gallon in my giant frying pan, then transfer to tamale pot until I had 4 gallons. Let cool, then frozen in gallon bags. Took a couple weeks. RunNgun time, the BBQ guys just let batches simmer on the smoker....man, you talk about good! Too much work though.
