TechSights makes a great peep rear sight for the SKS that sits at the rear of the dust cover - just gotta remove the retaining pin. And they retain zero perfectly when you take it apart for cleaning.

Does anyone make a decent optic mount for a SKS?
Any interest in these 8 round 1911 mags? I don’t know the brand. I sold my 1911 a while ago and found these in the back of the safe. They are 8 round mags. Also got one loaded with some cheap 45. Figured I’d ask here before I throw it on the files or classified. Willing to do it for a good deal. Sorry I don’t know the brand

Tech sights are great for anyone with a canted SKS for sure. They’re like GI sights with adjustable rear and add length to your sight radius. Good stuff

Correct. Khyber pass is a mountain pass that’s on the border of Afghanistan and Pakistan. They are infamous for hand making (I mean hand making) AKMs. there’s a little gunshop in the Khyber pass run by three afghani brothers, if they’re still alive. One was like 14, the other 12 and then a young little brother. The hand fit and file AKMs together from salvaged parts or even other scrap metal.
a Khyber Pass AK in our world is an AKM that’s just kind of thrown together all hodge podge from various countries etc.
right now everything @Leadhoof has shown me from his builds can qualify as a Khyber build haha
