Ok, so I’ve got mine set up to accept Tapco 20rnd mags. I know ‘Tapco’ is short for “Bubba don’t know nothin but how to fuck shit up”, but I’d heard they were really the only reliable removable mags for the SKS, and I bought this stuff back when y’all were still in high school.

So I’m considering sending the both off to Murray’s to get the reliability treatment on both firing pin holes. I wish there was a mod for an external bolt hold open, but I don’t think there is.
Also seen a few mods to get rid of the duck bill on those mags, but haven’t taken the bait yet.
Thoughts?
