As I tell Mrs.CrypticalHunter, Firearms and Ammo typically hold there value, and may appreciate slightly over time. Purses are consumer junk, and jewelry runs a 50% margin ... so you're upside down to begin with.
But, if purses and jewelry make you happy, he should be willing to trade that stang in for a honda and buy you all you want!

True. But I also can't count the number of times she went with me and I sold something and handed her the cash as soon as I got back in the car...
I also can't count the number of times I borrowed the cash right back a week later...
Oh I know it's investment stuff, it has helped us out when we needed some extra cash here and there in the past, but I was reminded of this when I told him I wanted a Louis Vuitton a few months back lol
