Left side but you can swap it. So I moved it to the right.
Also, I don't remember the version I shot but the guy had to upgrade it to a non reciprocating handle... like 120 bucks I think. This was a while ago.
His had an optic on it so left was great. You may end up switching it back. Dunno your experience.
