I've dropped deer with my M39, I load a Sierra .311 180 gr SP in it. Very effective.

Oklahoma deer are quite a bit bigger than Georgia Deer. I think that would be a little overkill here. LOL
About 100 lbs field dressed unless you go way northwest. The ones I kill around Henryetta (does) are usually 75-90 lbs
Hmmm.. one weird thing, of course I am not in the know is the electro pencil etching on the scope matches the serial number on the top of the gun by the Tula mark, not the SN on the left side by the wood. Not sure if that’s a dead give away
