Realistically I would have paid $500 for that rifle.
I know where one is locally that has an East India Brown Bess Lock, but I just can't bring myself to buy it cause I would want to remove and sell the lock cause it's worth more than the asking price on the whole thing.
Anyone that would sporterize a Johnson should have their hands cut off.
I dont even mind the embellished stock. What chaffs my ass is they rechambered it to .270

I mean i very well could be wrong, but I thought if a FFL received a lower or gun and logged it into their books they now possess it. @Rabbit2047 you wanna shed some light? A FFL sold a lower to the wrong person after it was shipped from a online sale for transfer/pick up
