Just checked the price of a prescription in 2007.
Without insurance it cost $19 dollars for a month's supply.
Today it is $1741 dollars for a month supply.
Affordable health-care my ass!
All they repeat over and over is "affordable"
But they never tell you how affordable
Or who finds it affordable
Or when it's affordable
Here's a doozy... one of my kids has a prescription that costs $40 to fill when I pay cash out of pocket. If I go through my health insurance, it's a $60 copay. The whole thing is completely nonsensical. Healthcare was actually affordable (for me) before all the Obamacare bullshit. At this point though, its impossible to put the genie back in the bottle and we're all massively fucked because of it.
