Rifles have gotten pretty damn expensive if you are trying to get into the game. 7.62x39 ammo seems to be the only thing that seems to be available from time to time in bulk, at a reasonable price. I'm sure this will end when creepy Joe uses a EO to stop the import of ammo.

Here's the first box of stuff I pulled down from the closet. Got an Izzy sidestamp, Izzy bayo, some Yugo BHOs, tankers, a couple of the nice toploader drums (not the Korean garbage), a Type 1 grip, miscellaneous combloc mags, etc. I'll pull down the 2nd box tomorrow with bakes and other stuff. Not sure what I want to get out of all this -- mainly because I don't know what some of the mags are.

The top loaders have sure gone up in price, on What A Country's website anyway. When I got them they were $180... now they're selling at $250. Is that typical of pre-ban AK stuff? Or is it just a Bidens-going-to-take-away-2A-rights scare?

You could always start off with a SKS. They’re a bit cheaper; still use 7.62 ammo. I really enjoy mine.
