I'm looking forward to rumarlns that will be coming next year. I want a 45-70 though. I was minutes from buying an 1895gs from dinkydau for 800ish. I sobered up and didn't pull the trigger. That one haunts me.

I had a guide gun... neat, but 3 in the tube was limiting. Huge boom, just don't miss. And even reloading, it was expensive. I like my .308 better.

I love my 308 but I have a special place in my heart for 45-70. My Father had quite a few of them. Was his favorite gun. He sold them all because he was bad with money. I'll buy one and pass it down as a family relic.

Agreed
And the kids can shoot 38 target loads with almost no recoil.
But it's gotta have them combat grips

Would love to have a 94 trapper in 357

Every man should have a .357. I'm down to just an old Single-action Blackhawk that I inherited from my dad, but I've kept all my .357 ammo. Somehow, someday I WILL have another DA .357 revolver & lever action. Especially now that Henry has added loading gates to their .357 rifles.

My old 19-5 K frame 357 wearing an oem combat grip and oem target sights.
Scary light trigger in SA mode but it's been smithed.
DA mode is very smooth and consistent too.

I do love the classics. I had a Highway Patrol that i should not have sold.
