I've never needed lube. Guess it depends on how you use it.
If I was going to lube a knife, I'd just use fine powdered graphite (pencil lead). Dry, so no worries.
Even assisted opening?

Anything special about Yugo grip screws? Tried to throw a bake on there and the head is too big to fit into the recessed portion on a regular bake grip. Can I just put a standard grip screw in there?

Honestly, in my 10 years of Leek carrying, I never oiled it at all. Well, except for whatever honing oil worked its way down in there.
Some are used that I bought. Never know what will show up. Figured I better have it and not need it versus... well, you know.
