Hinged Krinkov top cover. It fits a standard sized AKM stamped receiver but is only used on krinkov type AKs

My buddy just had 2Rivers cut down a 16” AK74 kvar barrel to 10 inches or so, SBR job, kept the standard AK length gas system and handguards, swapped out for the hinged top cover block and top cover. Swapped out front sights and installed a triangle folder lol it looks sick.

No that’s just traditionally the only weapons they were on but you can use them on any build you want. They’re most khyber. Most halal. Only disadvantage I guess would be a krink sighting system but build it with a side rail and supplement in a micro red dot

Hinged top cover with a sight on it makes side optics rail useless.
AKSU (misnamed Krinkov in US, it is not called that in Russia. "Suchka" is the name for it in Russian, meaning bitch) was designed as a substitute for submachine guns and APS, Automatic Stechkin's Pistol. AKSU was not meant to have optical sights.
Regular AK74M and AKS74M were used with POSP 4x24 sights, and now with red dots.
