Is your hammer a bushingless one piece or an old school 3 piece with bushings like the one in the pic
Got a set of calipers to measure your pin diameter?
You may have an old pin that's larger trying to use in a newer production rifle with the one piece hammer and no bushings

Im away from the gun now unfortunately, Its in newnan and I am in ATL. It is a older gun for sure because it has the old school push button mag release versus the extended one that is on the newer versions. The hammer that was in the gun (before I tried and put this new binary trigger kit in) looks similar to the one in your picture, it had teeth on the underside I think. Regretfully, I didn't inspect it as I removed it from the gun so I am unsure of the bushings. I don't remember seeing any but it could have had them, not 100% either way.
This is the trigger I am trying to put in.
BFSIII 22-C1 is the ultimate 22 plinker rifle upgrade. This trigger system can be utilized as a Ruger 10/22 binary trigger & a trigger for other 10/22 firearms.

If I was trying to put a old school pin through a newer production trigger kit and that was the cause to the issue, would I have to upgrade my lower receiver housing as well with the new smaller diameter pin? I feel like the diameter difference is very close, its just big enough to not fit.
