Looks like interference between the rear collar of the upper handguards and the wood of the lower handguards. Might have to hit it with a file.

I was wondering about that, when purchasing, there was one of those regulatory statements that said something along the line of "fitment not guaranteed, some filing may be required" - or some verbiage to that affect ... but pls don't quote me on that as I've already had several strong drinks.

On another note, I've been overly pissed off since yesterday, which carried into all day today, because I somehow lost the 1 singular box, that one FRIGGIN box, that contains all of my Octane 45 pistons - so at the moment, my Octane 45 has to remain on a 9mm, but I really wanted to go take my wife to the range and mount up the Octane on the 300 BO, but NOPE, didn't FRIGGIN happen!!

I just adjusted that, made it level - but still no-joy.
Could it be the length of the gas tube that needs to be filed down a bit (maybe the front portion to give the lever further room to turn / actuate at the rear?
