I've been sober for almost 30 years, never got into hard drugs - booze was plenty for me.
All this talk about nitrous brought back memories though. In the early 80s I worked at Whitlock Auto Supply in Tulsa. It was like a big department store for cars. We sponsored some local drivers, and re-filled nitrous bottles. We built some interesting plumbing in order to directly inhale the industrial-grade nitrous, all the while attempting to work. It's a wonder I have a brain cell left in my head.
