I have a slightly more than normal amount of tattoos, and I can't fathom what these felt like. It seems to me that they'd hurt like a bitch

Knees were worse.

Spent the whole night in the hospital with the wife her appendix ruptured. They just took her back for surgery all 1100 and they just told me that they actually started the surgery 15 minutes ago. Its been a long stretch without sleep. I'm getting to old for this shit.

@Grunk
It is 1991 all over again.
I can't say I'm surprised. They've been holding "peace talks" since the cease fire in 1994 & going nowhere. I remember some tank & helicopter clashes in like 2015 or 2016. I haven't kept up on the region too much in a while. I hoped the civil dissolution in Syria would convince them to try a different path than what is essentially ethnic/civil war. Dreaming on my part it seems. I'm also a little concerned about Erdogan's intentions since Turkey was involved in some of the Azerbaijani war games over this past summer.

continued prayers, man. Helplessly waiting in hospitals is hell.

Me too.
Turks are trying to re-establish the Ottoman empire. Russia is backing Armenia (sold them modern tanks and helping to build a factory for AK12 and AK 15 production)
Turkey is a NATO member. It can get very ugly with a 4 way conflict.

Well since Turkey still refuses to acknowledge Armenian genocide....you can guess what side of the conflict they will be on.....and the end result

Caught this little gecko earlier today and put him in the bushes so he didn't get stepped on. Tiny little guy.

Also, Herbie.

Pain isn't so bad today. Guess I am healing up.

Heating pad has been a lifesaver though all this though.
With Suz's fibromyalgia we have like 4 heating pads & a single bed size electric blanket for her. Makes an amazing difference. When she could still handle long trip, I got her an electric blanket that plugged into the cigarette lighter.
