I took a blank firing pistol and modified it to shoot 7.62tok when I was in Syria. Didn't wanna spend 3k for a glock or 2k for a Croatian made XDIf i was gonna get one of these it would be in 7.62 tokarev for Reliability.
Gonna be a one eyed monkey if he sends that round down range.
Doing a little "Training" tomorrow. Which AK should I run?

Depends who you're training but that wood stock would be the best cheek welder option
Model 63, the orginal Romanian designation.Good question I hope one of the AK Guru's can answer that.

Well said, thank you for the concise and informative reply!!!MD63 is Romanian military AKM stamped receiver, with dimples, select fire. That is a demilled parts kit that includes the original select fire FCG and bolt carrier but does not include a barrel or a receiver seeing as it’s a parts kit meant to build on.
a WASR 10/63 is a semi-automatic AKM with a stamped receiver that has no dimples and instead has two metal plates welded inside of the opened up double stack magazine well to support the double stack mag. It is built for civilian export mostly and uses “military parts” on the same machines in the same factories as the MD63 was built. It is an imported long gun and is subject to 922r compliance. It was never full auto unless it’s been converted by an SOT into a post-sample MG
there are more nuances but that is it in a nut shell
It’s the smoke coming out the back end that is the best part. So realistic!!
I used to love the CZ-52 I carried. If i was gonna get one of these it would be in 7.62 tokarev for Reliability.
That’s practically a .357SIG. I know, slightly larger diameter bullet, but it is essentially a necked down 10mm, and they DO offer conversion barrels. The 7.62tok caliber is main reason for having one of those. Awesome caliber, although I wish they would neck down a .40 to 7.62 and offer conversion barrels for today’s guns

Meh, I managed it, and I’m not half the shooter you are!!CZ-52 is more unpleasant to shoot than my mod 29 .44mag.
The TT-33 on the other hand is a pleasure to shoot.
Dang roller-lock mechanism!
