Is he trying to say this is a law because that is not how it works. A few years ago I used to keep my mosin at a friends house because i lived in on campus dorms and we were not allowed to keep guns on campus (but concealed carry was ok so that's dumb imo). My friend had an affinity for the devils lettuce and his house was raided and my gun was taken. All i had to do was show up and prove that i had the key for the lock on the case by opening the lock that they had already cut. Only took a few minutes but I started to keep my guns at the local range because I did not want to repeat the process. No receipt was needed
