Unlike US army, civilians can use HP or JSP or BT ammo. That's what I would use in an AR pistol. I use Barnaul JSP in Ace pistol, and it expands reliably out of Draco and Ace pistols.

Some drawers are thin and some are completely empty, I’m only about 7 months in and started from scratch. But, I’m getting there.
That reminds me, I need to pick up a set of pry bars. I still need to get another meter, picks, punches, wrenches, deep impacts, hammers. Oh and dykes and pliers. Shit.
