@Axeman
This is what I was talking about

Turn half of your rimfire ammo into match grade.

Test target was downloaded from interwebs, not mine, just an example of what a consistent headspace does for grouping.
You are basically eliminating the loose and tight ammo that causes flyers. Chamber pressure increases or decreases with headspace changes. That's it.
I can start a thread and link vids on how to use if needed.
Y'all enjoy

Cool! I found one for about $65

Is this the only/cheapest one out there?
or could I use a digital caliper to check it without buying this gauge?

She's almost set up just the way I want, and all of the remaining parts are on the way. But I still haven't decided on a color scheme yet.
If I’d known you wanted a Knoxx stock, I’d have sent you the one I’ve been meaning to sell/cell/sail/sale. But it’s for an 870, not sure if that’ll work...

That's about right.
Way back price was $29.99
Times have changed

There are other styles of the rimthickness gauge but I find this one the easiest and fastest to use.

Hey - Anybody know where I can find that screw that attaches an A1 or A2 stock to the buffer tube? Nobody appears to sell them with the tube, and I’ve already got the stock...just need the damn screw.
