I've battered and deep fried NY Strip and that's pretty awesome.
If you want clear, get lancer. I did not have a good experience with ets AR mags. My sample size was 2 and both were not greatETS AR-15 .223/.556 30-Round Magazine

Again I only had 2. One of them, the feed lips spread pretty significantly when kept loaded. The second, didn’t want to drop free from ANY rifle, seemed like it was too thick. The first one did fine.
the coupler was also Not great.
ETS Glock mags I’ve had great success with.

I deep fried a prime rib once and that turned out excellent. Did you have to fo fry the whole Strip? Or did you cut it into steaks first?

I gotcha. I only have 2 also. I didn't get the coupled kind. They've been loaded for over a year with no issues and they drop free from all the ARs I've had. I wonder if you got a pair from a bad batch. In fact, those are the 2 I have loaded on my nightstand for my SD AR
