Hospice dog is feeling better and is resting. Start of the end for the big fella most likely. Pisses me off that his life was so shitty for the longest time and now that he's in a good spot his body is failing. Big dude is still super happy though. If I end up being 1/100th as tough as these dogs I'll die happy too. He we let us know when he's ready to go when he stops eating all together. Love my big old meat head

I love the look of those A1 grips, and I have one just like yours - but I just hate the way they feel. They’re too small, and allow the hand to sit too far up on the frame.
Does anyone make a filler piece I could add to get that MOE type feeling from an A1 grip?

You’d be looking for a Colt Lightning or a Starr, not aware of any modern versions. Either of those will set you back a helluva lot.

Lemme jump in on that hunt with @Rabbit2047 if you see another one snag it for me too. I use the A1 style grip on my midlength beater rifle and love it. Would look good with a surplus on it.
