You have any secrets for keeping the hawks away from the chickens? Pretty sure I lost 3 yesterday to them. I'm pissed, 2 were just about ready to start laying and the other was a smaller bantom that was one of my kids pet chickens so they are all upset.
We free range them during the day so kind of hard to do much about it I guess? There was little to no evidence left behind, they were just gone. And one of the other bantoms was back in the coop completely traumatized it seemed.
