I had to use the mag float every day or twice a day on the glass on my other tank because of the algae...I clean the glass on this tank maybe every 5 or 6 days. I still get a little of the algae with the bubbles in it but it's minimal. I have to do better about shutting the lights off or going to blue earlier each night. I'm terrible at leaving the lights on too long.

This light is a lot stronger than the other one I had and I didn't realize the intensity was too strong until it started bleaching the palys. I keep the lights turned up about 1/3 of the way now...the color is coming back on the palys...they open some days and some days they don't. Some of the other ones are open or mostly open...
