Didn't say there weren't any Marxists anywhere. Said it was an assumption that they were "shredding our country". Are there problems, yes. Is it the 1st time, no. I was around when the weather underground was blowing up buildings & murdering security guards while robbing banks to fund overthrow of the government. Was alive when National Guardsmen killed protesters on college campus. I lived in midtown when the 1992 Rodney King riots & car burnings happened & they were not the 1st race riots I ever saw. Yes, many bad things are happening.

Nor did I say anyone was overreacting. It's why I stressed voting this fall. The 1st serious chance to slow this down is showing politicians me st Americans don't want it. The thing a politician hates the most is being out of office.

But I've been told voting is pointless, I live in a fantasy world & I'm overreacting. So, in the words of the immortal Merle Haggard, "I think I'll just sit here & drink."
