Laundry is woman’s work.
A sentenced only uttered by those never having served in the military.

Not that that is what YOU said, but that comes out of my stepson’s mouth from time to time and that is my response. Your post simply reminded me

Hah! I have done the laundry since my wife and I got our first place, she hates it and I don’t mind it. Win win for both of us!

Yesterday I hit Lowe's at 0830 and bought a new toilet and some filters for the water softener.
Took the old toilet out of the kids bathroom, nothing wrong with it wife just didn't like it, lol.
Installed a new toilet
Replaced the paper and ceramic filters in the water softener
Headed to the dump to haul off the toilet and other trash
Came home and painted my son's room
Did some SET time....headed to bed.

Church this morning
Dinner
Then Laundry....Lots of laundry, mostly the kids stuff.
My wife and I both did it because we both hate it, lol!

Normal day in the life of a House Commando.

My parents, as true children of the Great Depression & growing up on a tobacco farm (mother) or on a mill hill around various textile mills (father) raised me that there is no "women's work" or "men's work", just work that has to be done for a couple to move forward.

Yesterday I packed up the kitchen, dining room, and pantry with the wife, drove it all up to the new house, spent a couple hours trying to find a gas leak up there, skipped lunch, drove back to Atlanta, did some more packing, and tried to drink a bunch of white claws.

I was pretty tired.

Lol I can’t even imagine doing laundry with kids, it’s just the two of us and it still adds up!

Yep this is how my wife and I are! She’s not afraid to muck a chicken coop and I’m not afraid to do the dishes!
