Those work well and last quite a bit. I’ve used them for years. Not as good as steel or bakelite but easily good for a few hundred mag loads. After a while and lots of use they bulge out a little in the center and you start being able to load 31rds and they get stuck a little, thats when you throw them away

Not at all. I think the sights are mostly cosmetic anyways.
