I’m in communication with my NVG distributor. Let’s see if my units need to be built to order and how long that is gonna take. They don’t keep NVGs on the “shelf” which makes sense but I believe these are gonna move quickly 3-4 days to assemble 3-4 days to ship.

my buddy who’s buying 8000.00 BNVGs from TNVC got quoted 16 weeks lol

How do those things work with optics? Can you look through a standard rifle setup with an ACOG and see anything? Do you have to have a different eye relief?

Nah man you use an Infared laser designator.

I mean most optics have NV settings but it’s almost impossible to get behind an optic with helmet-mounted NODs. You can mount your monocle behind an optic on your rifle but I wouldn’t wanna subject my tubes to constant rifle recoil, also if you forget to switch your optic to NV mode or accidentally switch to a regular brightness setting you can burn an image of the reticle into your tube lol.

its best just use a designator. All those green lasers you see when you watch Night Vision stuff are Infared and can only be seen through NODs.

that’s what the big box on the front of my rifle is

usually a good designator will run you 850 - 2300.00 alone. They come with IR laser, IR flood, visible laser and High/Low or combination settings for both
