How do those things work with optics? Can you look through a standard rifle setup with an ACOG and see anything? Do you have to have a different eye relief?
Nah man you use an Infared laser designator.
I mean most optics have NV settings but it’s almost impossible to get behind an optic with helmet-mounted NODs. You can mount your monocle behind an optic on your rifle but I wouldn’t wanna subject my tubes to constant rifle recoil, also if you forget to switch your optic to NV mode or accidentally switch to a regular brightness setting you can burn an image of the reticle into your tube lol.
its best just use a designator. All those green lasers you see when you watch Night Vision stuff are Infared and can only be seen through NODs.

usually a good designator will run you 850 - 2300.00 alone. They come with IR laser, IR flood, visible laser and High/Low or combination settings for both
