been searching the internet trying to find the answer to this question: Do you have to have a unfinished dong in order to use shellac? Im new to wood staining, it already has been stained but from what I understand I must use some sort of chemical mixture, (acetone)? to remove stain, sand it down, clean thoroughly before putting shellac on. To achieve a medium tint use amber shellac? Mixing with denatured alcohol
Currently no plans. Pizza at some point@Gaige whatchu doing today
lol so no need to remove the original finish and restart with shellac?Shellac - Wikipedia

You’re overthinking it. Stain it. Shellac it.
Aren't you a gunsmithAaaaannd I just realized.....
The PM90 uses a full sized rear sight block....
I need a krink sight block to use the hinged top cover....
Fuck...
Thats gonna be 'spensive.
Aren't you a gunsmith
Ain't even talking about that, figured you'd get all the right partsYes but I don't have the equipment nor time to cast/forge a hinged rear sight block.
PB... you are always pissed off. Also baby shower outside it’s 89. I’m pissed off already
$250I think this Chinese SKS is a mix Master Sino Soviet. The rear sight "U" mark is correct for the era (I think) and the SN is a letter and 4 digits.
No SN on the dust cover, gas tube, or trigger guard. No SN on the stock which I think is a (incorrect) replacement anyway. No SN on the bolt carrier but there is one on the bolt. The bolt carrier doesn't have the lightening cut. A single "1" stamp on the mag.
Anyone wants this thing, make me an offer. I wanted the Yugo but the guy wouldn't split the pair.
