I already had a an expensive mail call coming, and then you sold me on the scorp.
The dude with the ammo was legit, I went into his warehouse, and will definitely be buying more from him.
@Shemp ammo dude is like 5 miles from us and had tons of good stuff. Everything from .22 to weird stuff for fudd guns, and was very fair on pricing.

Yeah, it's looking worse and worse, because I've gone over it with a heatgun and melted it back a little, and then with an iron to try flatten it out more. I'm going to have to re-do it somehow, but haven't decided on a pattern. Might go with something like basketweave...
EDIT: I don't have a basketweave tool, so I started just trying to fill in the holes...and it's making a decent look to it, so I'm probably going to continue with this!

But I managed to get one of they gray handguard dyed....you guessed it....
Purple
It turned out freaking awesome.
I think I might go a little bit darker though....
All depends on how it looks in the sunlight.
When I took outdoor photos it was drizzling and the sun has started going down.
This thing is PURPLE. It really makes the teak handguard I did earlier today look plum in comparison.
But I managed to get one of they gray handguard dyed....you guessed it....
