Yesterday I noticed my back yard had a wet spot about 4 foot outside the kitchen window.
I dug down a couple of feet and found out it was a leak in the main line coming to the house.
It was a 90 with a pin hole in it.
I went ahead and replaced the pipe from there to the house and put in a shut off valve and pressure regulator in an irrigation box.
The shut off at the road is 300 feet away so it made sense to spend the money and put a shut off close to the house.
