That's Jeff. He is the old whitehaired guy that used to work at Norcross Gun Club. He used to drive the white F-150 and have his GSD in the bed during the nicer weather months. He's a great guy and really knowledgeable, despite the gun in that ad. He does a lot of trading, he probably traded into that one.

Picking this up on Wednesday. Pretty stoked. @jimipanic did a great job once again. Gonna throw it on the triangle folder and see how it looks. I think Jesse cut enough off and then I came behind and sanded off a good bit too and rounded it out so it looks almost like a hand stop and not a reverse dong and won't look too stupid on a non-UF.

Also, restoring this Polish fat bakelite grip. Didn't think to get a before pic . Rubbed it with some 0000 steel wool and baby oil and then rubbed the oil into the grip with a microfiber cloth. Have it in a 48hr soak in baby oil now.

I personally don't care for baby oil, although it does work well....the smell bothers me.

I prefer sunflower oil.

It's actually scented "bath oil" that my girl had and I talked her into letting me use it all, lol. It's the same thing pretty much as baby oil though, maybe not as viscous but really close.

Bakelite will soak up any oil, but the thinner the better when building up your base.

For the final couple coats try working food grade coconut oil into the mag. It will frost up, then buff the shit out of it for a extremely high shine.
