Try tapping it left and right with small hammer till it locks in.

That's the recipe I posted earlier in the thread. (I did double the recipe. If doing that, I wouldn't double the butter.) Letting it cool now!

Woooweeee....full disclosure, the blueberries I used were really sweet. I should have cut down on the sugar a good bit.

Is the lever real tight by itself? How hard was it to open when you first took the HG off?

Oil it then tap lightly with hammer don’t grab and bend it it in ive have really tough ones

I've been there, just calm down. It's easy. If it went together once, it will go together again.

I had mine together and apart about 20 times bc everytime I reinstalled the lower HG, I could never get the cleaning rod to seat completely. I had to tweak the little brace that's inside. The rod has to slide under it.

Finish can be rough on them also. Mine is. It's at Highland Arms for cerakote at we speak.

Question for whoever knows:

Let's say someone has an SBR, and drops it off at a local gunsmith for butt stock replacement. What type of paperwork or licensing is required by the "gunsmith" to be able to maintain possesion of the SBR for a few days/weeks? Class 3?
