Anyone know approximately what it would cost to get a AK re-barreled, and pin a muzzle on it? Assume there would have to be some refinishing involved as well? Have an opportunity to get a SLR106 that I have been looking for but might want to get it re-barreled so trying to calculate in that cost.

Rebarrel is about $200 at 2R, plus another $100 for refinishing. But if it's gonna need some other small work, the price will be higher but I'm not sure how much.

Personally I'd use In Range in TN, his prices will be better from what I understand and the work is top notch supposedly. I've used 2R and they do great work, ppl here love them. But they were a PITA to deal with for what should have been a straight forward job that they are not at the top of my list for AK work.

What’s a HK VP70z worth?

Hard to say. One's been posted for months on the other site for 700(ish).

Cool guns though. I had one as a kid. I'd give $450 for one but I don't know if you can find them for that anymore. Howard's had one a few years ago in the box for $400 and it was gone when I went back for it. Heel release mag if you aren't aware.

The HK 7 series and early polymer pistols have become like Smith and Wesson revolvers. If they got the box and all, unfired, they get way up there. There are a lot of models and years and stuff. Very collectable. I hate collectable Smith and Wesson revolvers. Looking at them depreciated their valve. You cant's even handle one, must less work the action or even open the cylinder God forbid. Enjoy you Smith sitting in the safe Ad Infinitum.
