I saw those kits only thing that turned me off was no trunnion. I want to get as close to a pure Russian as I can

Don't know if you are a member over on the AKfiles.....but this guy from Georgia recently posted a thread about a Izhevsk build he had done by Two RIvers that had me wanting to buy a Soviet kit and Polish barrel and do it! I really don't want to spend the money, only thing stopping me, lol. But what a BEAUT his rifle turned out to be! It ain't as Maadi/SAR-1 AKM pure because of the out of country barrel/receiver.....but DANG! I say do it!
