I am not sure that a rifle length will have enough room in a carbine stock to retract far enough to allow the bolt to cycle properly.

Does this keep it a pistol? I wouldn't think so since you're technically putting a pistol brace on top of a stock.

I am not sure that a rifle length will have enough room in a carbine stock to retract far enough to allow the bolt to cycle properly.

Just tested that theory using my bushy buffer on a carbine.

It will cycle...
