Who's the Norinco expert? I have the opportunity to pick up 2 56s Norinco's and was wondering what to look for, are some years more valuable then others etc?
One is a under folder with threaded barrel slant brake
The other is fixed wood stock with threaded slant brake
Both are brand new in box with bayonet, 3 mags each, sling, oil bottle etc.

What would you think the value i of each

In today's market 2200 for the fixed stock and 2600 for the UF.

To those that suggested a container of hot water for removing cosmoline...Thanks! Worked great on trigger group & mag.

How about these parts...just steel wool and a little oil? Or should I hit them with flat black paint since they are hidden?

Wd40 and bronze wool... Wd40 is a solvent. Other rust busting solvents should work. If you leave it oiled after getting rid of the rust, it shouldn't spread
