It’s only 60k on it. Got it from my granddad who’s a mechanic
What year? I got a 93 Toyota - one of the most fucking reliable critters around, but the age is making parts wear out with only 149K on the clock.
And low mileage on a Jag of that era is NORMAL. Back then, the joke when you told someone you had a Jaguar was for them to ask what your OTHER car was...
They needed to have tuneups every oil change, and the tuneup required manual resetting of the valves. So if your grandfather wasn’t a mechanic when he bought it, he probably became one in order to keep it without going broke.

Haters gone hate when I pull up in that CAT
I will admit, they are sexy looking beasts. There’s one rotting away in front of the mechanic next to the cabinet shop in Woodstock. Been sitting there unmoved for three years. I think when they replace the parking lot they’ll have to just pave over it.

They are beautiful...love that body style. However Jags reliability & quality during that era was rather lacking. I'd suggest setting aside a lot of money for repairs and maintenance.

I love the 928s and thought about buying one a co-worker had, but Porsche's from any era are expensive to maintain...especially if no regular maintenance has been done. I passed on it as you can spend a small fortune on an 928 V8 engine rebuild. But I just love the looks of those cars.....
