I have done a couple Paki/Khyber jobs with the tacks in the stock. But never restored one per-se

@Balthaz cost to restore one would depend on the condition of the weapon.

I looked at the IMA website and the $395 dollar ones looked pretty decent shape. I would just knock the rust off, clean it up well, make sure it was mechanically sound, and coat it with ren-oil

I would hate to destroy the natural patina.
